KISS Budgeting

When you first open KISS Budgeting, a quick setup guides you through creating spending categories and setting initial budgets. From there, simply log transactions as you spend — the app tracks progress against each budget in real time. No bank account connection required.

Navigate to the Recurring section in the app to add subscriptions, bills, or any repeating payment. Set the amount, frequency, and due date so KISS Budgeting can factor them into your budget automatically — no more surprise charges.

Data can be exported from Settings → Export Data. This creates a file you can save to Files, iCloud, or share anywhere. To import data on a new device, go to Settings → Import Data and select the exported file.

Yes — completely. KISS Budgeting is privacy-first by design. All data stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server. There are no bank connections, no account sign-ups, no ads, and no data selling. Your financial information is yours alone.

Because KISS Budgeting stores data locally for privacy reasons, data doesn't sync automatically between devices. Data can be transferred manually using the Export and Import feature described above.
